What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that can be sent to your Internet browser when you visit the Company’s website at www.azc.sk and stored on your device (computer or other Internet-enabled device, such as a smartphone or tablet). Cookies are stored in the file folder of your browser. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, their validity and value. The next time you visit the site, the web browser reloads the cookies and sends this information back to the website that had originally created the cookies. The cookies we use do not harm your computer. These files are very useful because they allow the page to be recognized by the user’s preferences.

What are cookies used for?

They are mainly used to distinguish between users and maintain context. After a user logs in, their browser is sent an encrypted cookie. This is then used to verify the authenticity of the user for all other site requests, such as language preferences. The cookie is deleted when the user logs out. It will also be lost if the user closes their browser or when it expires.

Is it safe?

Cookies do not pose any danger to your computer. Cookies cannot provide the server with any data from your hard drive, they will not divulge the email address or any other information about the user of the browser. A cookie itself is transmitted over an encrypted link and is not stored on a disc, so no one can retrieve it either by capturing it “on the way” or from your disc. In addition, each cookie contains its creation time and is only valid for a short time thereafter. Then it becomes completely useless.

How do we use cookies

Basic cookies form the basis for the operation of our website and allow the use of basic features such as secure areas. This item is deleted when you leave the website. Without these cookies we cannot provide the services that form the basis of our site. If you disable these cookies, we will not be able to guarantee the error-free operation of the site.

Third-party cookies – on the Company’s website there are links to the websites of our partner companies. This allows the company to store cookies from third parties – partner companies of AZC, a.s. If you want to know how third parties use cookies, read their privacy and cookies policies.

You can disable the use of cookies in your browser settings. However, disabling it may result in the loss of some of the features of this site.
